Significant progression in East Med gas resources development to culminate in Cyprus energy summit

More gas from Gina Krog with Eirin

Equinor has submitted a plan for development and operation (PDO) of the Eirin gas field to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. Recoverable reserves in the field are estimated at 27.6 million barrels of oil equivalent, most of which is gas. The Eirin field, which was discovered in 1978, will be developed as a subsea facility tied to the Gina Krog platform in the North Sea. Total investments are estimated at just over NOK 4 billion.
