New partnership drives PipeSense’s global expansion

PipeSense, a provider of pipeline leak detection and monitoring technologies, has announced the expansion of its services into South America through an exclusive agent agreement.

Through a new partnership with Chilean FastPack, PipeSense will deliver its advanced solutions to oil, gas, utilities, and mining operators across Chile and Peru.

FastPack is an established supplier of transportation, fluid handling and asset integrity solutions to heavy industries, including mining and energy. The agreement gives US-based PipeSense its first direct route into a new continental market.

The partnership strengthens both companies. FastPack gains access to PipeSense’s portfolio of leak detection, pig tracking and hydrotesting technologies—systems that have supported oil, refined product, natural gas, and water pipelines across North America since PipeSense entered the market in late 2023.

The agreement follows an initial contract in which PipeSense will deploy its PipeGuard leak detection system on a project in Peru in early 2026, supporting one of the region’s largest producers of metals and precious minerals. This marks PipeSense’s first project outside North America and its first involvement in mining operations.

Mining is a cornerstone of South America’s economy, and pipeline integrity is critical to protecting water sources, soil quality and production continuity. PipeSense’s solutions help operators reduce the economic, environmental, and operational risks associated with leaks, including contamination, degradation and lost output.

After rapid growth and a strengthening US market presence over the past two years, PipeSense is now pursuing international expansion to replicate its success abroad. The South American agreement follows a similar agency partnership in Canada and signals a broader intercontinental growth strategy heading into 2026.

Josh Holmes, Vice President of Business Development at PipeSense, said: “Pipeline inefficiencies and operational challenges aren’t unique to North America. From aging infrastructure to the risk of human error, these issues affect operators worldwide. Through our work with US oil, gas, and utilities companies, we’ve seen how PipeGuard and our PipeServ services help teams avoid wasted time chasing false positives and stop small leaks from becoming major incidents. After a period of strong growth and team expansion, we’re ready to take our support international starting with this project in South America and our new partnership with FastPack as we move into an exciting 2026.”
