Aberdeen Drilling School acquires IAS International and appoints two new directors as it spearheads Middle East growth

Aberdeen Drilling School (ADS), the global training and consultancy company, today announces it has acquired IAS International (IAS) to enhance its training and competency management portfolio for the Middle East market. To propel growth in the region, ADS has also appointed two senior directors, Graeme Eglintine and Petru Cioban.

Amarinth secures order of API 610 pumps for another North Sea project

Off-grid Hy-brand products from Proton Motor Fuel Cell in high demand: Follow-up order from subsidiary of Shell Group for two HyShelter power plants

The European premium supplier of emission-free hydrogen fuel cells Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH has received an order from Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH, a subsidiary of the international energy Group Shell, for two containerised hydrogen fuel cell hybrid systems. HyShelter 240 will be used for the power supply of off-grid mobile refuelling units for trucks.

New research reveals up to 15 times lower shear effect with Hydra-Cell pumps

Wanner today published findings of research showing that a Hydra-Cell seal-less, multi-diaphragm pump reduced the shear degradation in a polymer solution by over 90% compared to a plunger pump. The independent testing was conducted by a professor specialising in enhanced oil-recovery and transport in porous media at the University of Wyoming. The testing investigated how to minimise shear effects during polymer flooding.
